Description du Poste/Job description : Enseignement du cours « Francophone Women Writers » pour un groupe d’étudiant.es étranger.es en provenance d’universités américaines.

The question of identity, and its multiple belonging and affiliations in its profound complexity, is the fundamental theme of our course while studying a variety of texts of francophone women writers. We will study the concept of identity seen through the eyes of a selected number of women writers in different linguistic, historical, social, and psychological perspectives. The students will be invited constantly to take account of sociohistorical context of their work: how the colonial history of the past impacts the postcolonial writing, and how it comes out in the text through a particular use of language by these women writers.

The students will analyze and interpret the literary texts of different women authors coming from different sociopolitical contexts. Thus, one of the main goals will be considering the sociohistorical context of each text before and during their lecture. In order to achieve this objective, the students will be encouraged to consider the variety of French literary expression. The course broaching the question of identity will show that the first achievement of these authors is always to redefine their relationship with linguistic metropolitan material by using another cultural and linguistic baggage belonging to other territories.

Missions/Responsibilities :

· Préparer et élaborer son cours (programme, plan de cours, examens, etc.)

· Assurer la totalité des séances de cours.

· Être disponible pour les étudiant.es en cas de besoin pour des questions et discussions.

· Participation aux réunions obligatoires.

· Renseigner les outils d’évaluations : remise des notes et des travaux, éventuelle contestation des notes.

· S’investir pleinement et de manière professionnelle dans l'enseignement du cours.

Skills :

· Français universitaire (langue de l'enseignement du cours) exigé.

· Préférence pour les candidat.es ayant une expérience dans l'enseignement supérieur (dans l’enseignement américain de préférence mais non obligatoire).

· Être sensible aux questions interculturelles.

· Rigueur intellectuelle.

· Maîtrise des outils pédagogiques en ligne (Teams).

Qualifications :

· Master exigé, doctorat privilégié.

· Passionné.es par l’enseignement et l’échange interculturel.

· Expérience pédagogique préalable.

Conditions :

Temps de Travail/Schedule : 10 à 15 séances d’environ 3h, pour un total de 38 heures, au cours de cette session de 4 semaines.
