FUNCTION
Serves as main point of contact for all students seeking independent housing through the AUP Housing Office. Plays a great role in maintaining relationships with individual Parisian landlords, and on-boarding new landlords who wish to rent through AUP. Serves student needs by providing information, support, and regular communication about issues related to housing.

DUTIES
- Meet and follow up with landlords to explain housing procedure, and/or to discuss problems that arise with student tenants (maintenance issues, apartment damage, unpaid rent, etc).
- Meet and follow up with students to assist in housing search, and/or to resolve tenancy issues that may arise (unreturned security deposits, unauthorized entrance into occupied apartments, or broken items needing repair).
- Serve as chief point of contact for office main email account (housing@aup.edu) answering messages within a timely fashion and directing certain messages to team members in case different expertise is required.
- Monitor incoming graduate student attendance confirmations, keeping a running tally of students requesting permanent housing during orientation.
- Coordinate independent housing search for new graduate students: sending regular communications, and scheduling meetings (virtual and/or in person) to arrange student visits of apartments in order for them to find housing.
- Coordinate independent housing search for returning students.
- Process new apartment offers, creating them in the housing database.
- Organize photo files and post new photos for apartment offers online.
- Coordinate bi-annual landlord mailer, both via paper mail and email.
- Assist in planning of annual landlord meet and greet event.
- Assist students with applications for the CAF
- Create and regularly update support tools (videos, website materials, etc) for students in the realm of housing.
- Organize office key box, maintaining regular updates of the key log.
- Other tasks assigned by manager
Qualifications :
- Bilingual English/French
- BTS Assistant Administrative or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly in both spoken and written communication.
- Highly empathetic, strives to help others
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer literate: previous experience using Microsoft Office required, database fluency a plus.
- Ability to work well under stress
- Cultural sensitivity, experience studying/working in highly diverse environments
- Valid work permit for France, or EEC nationality

Conditions :
Full time office hours in Paris. Possibility to do remote work 2 days per week after 6 months of seniority has been achieved.
