Founded in 1981, Paris College of Art (PCA) is a private university in Paris, France. The university is a US degree granting institution of higher learning and is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). PCAs mission is to provide the highest standard of art and design education, taught within an American pedagogical paradigm, while being influenced and informed by our French and European environment. Our international faculty is comprised of 100 leaders in the art, design, and business industries in Europe and courses are taught in English. PCA offers an interdisciplinary education for students coming from 50 different countries, and awards Bachelors (BFA), and Masters (MA and MFA) degrees as well as study abroad, certificate, and summer programs. Position Overview

Paris College of Art is committed to helping students from all over the world find academic and personal success. The Admissions Counselor for International Programs reports to the Executive Director of Admissions and Communications.

 

General Responsibilities

Develop and carry out recruitment strategy to increase student enrollment in all programs:

·         Represent PCA at recruitment events, both in-person and online

·         Seek out, develop and maintain relationships with high school counselors and educational agencies to expand international recruitment network

 

Accompany prospective students from inquiry to deposit stage to ensure maximum enrollment:

·         Conduct school tours

·         Lead information sessions

·         Review portfolios

·         Conduct candidate interviews

·         Review candidate files and participate in admissions decision meetings

·         Assist in the organization and implementation on-campus events.

 

Oversee inbound and outbound study abroad programs :

·         Maintain existing exchange program, study abroad, and educational agency collaborations

·         Coordinate with study abroad advisors at partner schools

·         Run info sessions

·         Manage applications, answer student inquiries.

·         Advise students about courses and programs at partner universities.

Le Conseiller en admissions pour les programmes internationaux a pour objectif de recruter de futurs étudiants talentueux et reporte pour l’exercice de ses missions au Directeur exécutif des admissions et des communications.

 

Responsabilités générales

Élaborer et mettre en œuvre une stratégie de recrutement pour augmenter le nombre d'inscriptions d'étudiants dans tous les programmes :

·         Représenter PCA lors d'événements de recrutement, physiques ou online

·         Rechercher, développer et entretenir des relations avec des conseillers au sein de lycées et d’agences d’éducation pour étendre le réseau de recrutement international

Accompagner les étudiants potentiels, depuis leur premier contact jusqu’à l'étape du dépôt de candidature afin d’assurer un maximum d'inscriptions :

·         Animer les visites du Campus

·         Animer des sessions d'information

·         Examiner les portfolios des étudiants

·         Mener les entretiens avec les candidats

·         Examiner les dossiers de candidature et participer aux réunions de décision d'admissions

·         Aider à l'organisation et à la mise en œuvre d'événements sur le campus.

 

Superviser les programmes d'études en échange (entrants et sortants) :

·         Maintenir le programme d'échange existant, le Study Abroad et les collaborations avec les agences d’éducation

·         Coordonner avec les conseillers en Study Abroad des écoles partenaires

·         Organiser des sessions d'information

·         Gérer les candidatures, répondre aux demandes des étudiants.

·         Conseiller les étudiants sur les cours et les programmes des universités partenaires.

Skills :

·         Eligible to work in France (EU Nationality or VISA/Titre de séjour with work authorization)

·         Masters degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree essential

·         Education and/or practical experience in art & design.

·         An interest in working on a team to promote Paris College of Art.

·         Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French preferred.

·         Knowledge of the American educational system.

·         Solid computer skills including experience with Word and Excel and database systems.

·         Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
