Rice Global Paris (RGP) recherche un(e) candidat(e) qualifié(e) pour occuper le poste à temps plein de coordinateur(trice) de programme pour le Centre Rice Global Paris. Sous la supervision directe du directeur administratif de RGP à Paris, le coordinateur de programme rejoindra une petite équipe dynamique pour participer à la construction et à la gestion du projet RGP à Paris.
Rice Global Paris (RGP) is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time position of Program Coordinator for the Rice Global Paris Center. Under the direct supervision of the Administrative Director of RGP in Paris, the Program Coordinator will join a small, dynamic team to participate in building and managing the RGP project in Paris.
The Rice Global Paris Center was created in 2022 with the core mission of creating a new hub for Rice University in Paris that will provide immersive educational opportunities for Rice undergraduate and graduate students, reinforce cooperation and opportunities between Rice’s research community and its French and European counterparts, and enhance Rice University’s reputation globally. In 2023, RGP will host a series of high-profile research events for Rice University in partnership with a number of leading French institutions. In addition, various short student programs will take place in Paris, drawing from a wide range of disciplines and schools. In total, over 300 faculty and students are expected to participate in RGP-sponsored events at the Rice Global Paris Center over the course of 2023. RGP’s long-term objective is to continue developing and reinforcing Rice’s presence and activities in Paris, France and Europe to establish RGP as an international campus for Rice University with a year-long academic program dedicated to teaching, research and developing strategic partnerships.
This position is based in Paris, and candidates must be legally able to work in France. The Program Coordinator will by hired by Rice Global Paris, a French association, and this position is a full-time, in-person, 12-month CDD contract including a trial period, with possibility of evolving into a CDI contract. The position will be 35 hours per week, with occasional evening or weekend availability required for program-related events.
Functions
- Provides administrative and logistical support to the Administrative Director and the Director of Strategic Alliances for the organization of all RGP events
- Provides support to Rice University faculty, staff and students as related to the program needs, including managing student arrivals and departures
- Coordinates student housing in Paris, and is a student point of contact
- Manages the Rice Global Paris social media accounts
- Is available and assists the AD should emergencies occur
- Generates routine communications; coordinates production (formatting, copying, etc.) and distribution of documents, such as presentations, course handouts, grant proposals, conference and seminar materials, complex reports, brochures, and displays
- Schedules, organizes, and operates complex conferences, seminars, and events, including recommending vendors for services, overseeing the production and distribution of materials, coordinating logistics, and serving as liaison with internal and external vendors
- Creates complex reports and spreadsheets
- Plans and schedules calendar(s), resolves calendaring conflicts, and arranges travel
- Processes and monitors financial transactions, including resolution of discrepancies
- Maintains office supplies and equipment; obtains vendor quotes, as needed
- Maintains and updates approved web content
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- In lieu of the education requirement, additional related experience, above and beyond what is required, on an equivalent year for year basis may be substituted
- Three years experience in an administrative setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- Experience in a field related to study abroad
- Familiarity with American university systems and culture
- Event planning experience
Other :
Annual Hiring Range: 32,000 to 38,000 EUR
