Responsibilities :

The Senior Academic Programs Coordinator will be responsible for program development initiatives and management of U.S. universities’ education abroad programs as well as development of program opportunities with Accent’s partner institution, Paris College of Art.  

Skills :

The position requires academic sensitivity, excellent communication, and organizational, analytical and research skills, as well as experience in program budget development, promotion and management. The ideal candidate will analyze and understand the needs of diverse university partners to propose programming customized to each institution’s objectives, curriculum, and student interests.

Candidates will have strong interpersonal and networking skills and be able to deal with a variety of tasks simultaneously both individually and as part of a team.  

Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree  
  • (Native) English speaker; excellent written communication in English  
  • Fluency in French   
  • Prior experience in communication role in business or higher education setting and/or role related to design and delivery of education and training programs  
  • Organized and detailed-oriented  
  • Preferred:  
    • Knowledge of / experience in US higher education  
    • Experience in management of education abroad programs on site  
    • Experience with branding and visual communication

Other :

Accent Global Learning provides logistical and academic support to education abroad students from the United States. The Accent Paris Study Center has six classrooms, a student lounge, a library and office space. Accent Global Learning supports full semester programs, including courses taught by Paris-based faculty and shorter programs taught by visiting U.S. faculty. In addition, Accent provides program support to our partner institution, Paris College of Art. Accent has study centers in London, Paris, Madrid, Florence, Rome, and Sicily. Conditions :

The role will require flexibility and work outside normal working hours including occasional weekends.

Hours of Work: 35 per week (Typically 9am–5.00pm) 

Starting date: January 22 (date flexible)
