Working directly under the Program Director, this coordinator-level position combines student academic advising with overall administrative and logistical support for the program.
On the academic side, the coordinator serves as a key point of contact for students, beginning prior to their arrival with guidance on course selection and registration. Throughout the semester, the coordinator follows students’ academic progress, ensuring they are successfully established in their courses, connected with academic tutors, and on track with assignments and final examinations.
On the administrative side, the coordinator supports the program, including communication with academic tutors, guest speakers, coordination with Reid Hall staff on room arrangements and set-up, and related logistical and administrative follow-up.
The successful candidate will be resourceful, proactive, and accustomed to working with a high degree of independence, while collaborating closely with colleagues.
The position will occasionally require evening work and participation in day-long or overnight program trips. Working time will be organized in accordance with applicable working-time rules and the Center’s internal procedures.

Responsibilities :
Student Advising and Support (Year-Round: Fall, Spring, Summer)
Semester Programs (Fall & Spring)

Collaborate with New York offices and partners (e.g., Sciences Po, Paris I, etc.) to develop and confirm course offerings.

Advise students on course selection, registration, and study-abroad processes (pre-departure to post-program).

Prepare and edit program materials (e.g., orientation booklets, coursepacks).

Support faculty during active semesters.

Conduct language interviews and review student applications.

Coordinate with the New York office to gather student information for Reid Hall ID preparation.

Assist the Reid Hall Operations Manager with classroom setups.

Support on-site faculty and serve as the primary contact for students.
Summer Programs (Spring & Summer)

Assist with summer program preparations (e.g., classroom reservations, coursepacks, all other course materials).

Accompany excursions and serve as the point person for dedicated programs.
General Program Administration (Year-Round: Fall, Spring, Summer)
Under the Program Director’s supervision:

Coordinate logistics for student orientations, onboarding, and events.

Update the program website and manage event registration.

Organize partner/speaker support, catering, and technical needs.

Set up and clear rooms for events, and prepare program booklets.

Support on-site and off-site events.

Other duties may be assigned as needed, in line with the scope and level of the position.
Skills :
Required skill sets

Bilingual French-English (C2 level or equivalent), with strong written and oral communication skills in both languages

Experience in an academic advising role

Strong interest in cross-cultural exchange and international education

Familiarity with higher education in both France and the United States

Team spirit and good interpersonal skills

Adaptability and ability to manage changing priorities

Organization and rigor

Good computer skills, especially in Zoom, Microsoft Suite, and graphic software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, Eventbrite

Gross annual salary: 33K€
