Responsibilities:
• Help with the installation, configuration, and ongoing use of desktop computers, peripherals, and software.
• Troubleshoot system failures and network issues for Mac and Windows devices, printers, WIFI, and VoIP phones.
• Perform basic network tasks like cabling and testing network links.
• Manage user accounts, including password resets and directory searches.
• Work with the IT support team to resolve client problems.
• Deploy new desktops, workstations, notebooks, and handheld devices.
• Install and upgrade software, hardware, and configure systems.
• Respond to user requests for technical support promptly.
• Work with vendors to resolve technical problems.
• Train staff on hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Support users in virtual environments like Microsoft Azure.
• Maintain hardware inventory for computers and printers.
• Assist with audio/visual hardware and software in classrooms.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Other appropriate duties may also be assigned as requested by the Supervisor and according to the needs of the department.
Skills :
Skills Required:
• 0-2 years of experience in technical support.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks.
• Strong computer skills, including hardware, software, and network setup.
• Familiarity with Windows and Mac OS environments.
• Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
Qualifications :
• Education: BTS or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and carry hardware up to 20 kilos.
• Fluent in English and French with valid EU working papers.

Job Purpose:
Assist staff, faculty, and students with technical support for desktop computers, applications, and related technology. Use IT Client Management tools to provide first-line helpdesk support in person, via phone, email, and remote connection.
