Position Overview
The CIEE Program Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring the success and daily functioning of the High School Summer Abroad (HSSA) programs in Paris and oversees a team of program leaders and program assistants for CIEE HSSA Paris. The CIEE Program Coordinator will also assist the Student Life team with the implementation of other CIEE Paris programs for College Students before HSSA program start date.
CIEE is a nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization that transforms lives and builds bridges between individuals and nations through study abroad and international exchange experiences that help people develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world.
Missions include:
Program Preparation

Complete all trainings and attend HSSA meetings
-
Oversee the preparation of all cultural activities and excursions

Report costs of program elements
-
Review student applications and flag any concerns
-
Contribute to the recruitment and selection of host families

Prepare orientation sessions and materials
-
Organize arrival and departure logistics
Responsibilities during program:
-
Coordinate arrival and departure days
-
Be a key point of contact for students, offering guidance to help them during their stay

Accompany cultural activities and excursions (day trip, overnight)

Ensure student well-being by helping problem solve issues and following up on cases
-
Assist the housing team on resolving any conflict at homestays or in residences
-
Regularly report incidents in Salesforce and update sending schools or legal guardians

Coordinate the HSSA team of program leaders and program assistants, together with the Program Manager

Fluency in both French and English

Familiarity with French and American culture

Experience with youth, preferably in a cross-cultural setting

Team-player, preference for a candidate who has led a team
Qualifications :
Bac +3 minimum

Conditions :

Participate in the rotating emergency phone duty

Travel with groups, during the day and on weekends

Flexible working hours depending on unexpected situations
