Job Responsibilities

 

o   Program Management

§  Cultural Activities & Excursions

·       Collaborate with local and visiting faculty to design and coordinate cultural visits and academic excursions (booking museums, guides, restaurants, transportation, etc.)

·       Prepare and share supporting documents and itineraries with faculty

·       Manage and update calendars for all activities, outings, and excursions

·       Research and cultivate relationships with new partners (restaurants, guides, museums, transport providers)

·       Maintain positive, long-term relationships with existing partners

·       Keep an up-to-date list of cultural resources, venues, and contacts and ensure it evolves with new opportunities

·       Stay informed about major cultural events, exhibitions, and museum programming to enhance offerings

·       Act as a point of reference for extraordinary culturally themed initiatives, special requests, or unique projects

§  Housing

·       Arrange student and faculty housing with apartment agencies, residences, and homestay providers

·       Create housing assignments and manage data entry in internal systems

·       Support students with maintenance concerns and track follow-up

·       Prepare arrival and departure materials

·       Conduct Housing Orientation sessions

·       Maintain financial records related to housing

 

 

§  Academic Coordination

·       Serve as liaison with local institutions (e.g., CCFS, ILCP, Val de Seine)

·       Facilitate communication with institutional contacts

·       Manage student enrollment processes

·       Assist with academic orientations

·       Prepare and distribute academic materials

 

o   Front Office Responsibilities

·       Provide services and information to students, faculty, and visitors

·       Manage incoming calls and support general office tasks (photocopying, filing, etc.)

·       Prepare materials for arrivals and orientation (welcome packets, reception materials, transfer details, metro passes)

·       Participate in airport transfers, orientation meetings, welcome events, and neighborhood tours

 

o   Student Emergency Support

·       Assist students and faculty with health and safety matters

·       Participate in a rotating emergency phone duty schedule

·       Support implementation of Safety & Security protocols

 

o   Additional Information

·       Occasional evening and weekend work is required

 

·       Other administrative duties as assigned by the Center Director

Skills :

 

o   Demonstrated experience organizing and managing cultural visits, outings, and excursions

o   Prior experience studying abroad, working in an international setting, and/or supporting U.S. university programs strongly preferred

o   Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English

o   Strong interpersonal, intercultural, and customer-service skills, particularly when working with a diverse student and faculty population

o   Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage responsibilities efficiently

o   Flexibility and readiness to take on a variety of tasks within a fast-paced small-team environment

o   Solid local knowledge of Paris, as well as familiarity with French culture and history

 

o   Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint), email, Swift Publisher, and social media platforms

Qualifications :

 

o   Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience in international education, higher education, or tourism

Other :

Start date: as soon as possible

Conditions :

Participate in a rotating emergency phone duty schedule

Occasional evening and weekend work is required
