The CIEE Program Assistant is primarily responsible for ensuring the success of the daily functioning at the housing residence of the High School Summer Abroad (HSSA) programs and is also accountable for serving as a first point-of-contact for students and program leaders for CIEE HSSA Paris for questions and concerns related to housing.
CIEE is a nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization that transforms lives and builds bridges between individuals and nations through study abroad and international exchange experiences that help people develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world.
Position availability : Candidates should be available to reside at the housing residence from July 9, 2026 to July 29, 2026. Housing residences will be located in Paris or in close suburbs on the Paris metro.

Program preparation:

Complete all relevant trainings

Prepare housing orientation materials for students and program leaders

Assist in the organization of arrival and departure logistics
Responsibilities during program:
-
Reside onsite at the program housing from June 16, 2026 to July 29, 2026
- Manage the stays of two groups of American high school students housed at the residence
- Welcome groups upon their arrival at the residence and ensure they settle in smoothly
- Oversee curfew, any onsite meals and morning departures to class or activities
- Ensure rooms are kept tidy and residence staff and equipment are treated with respect
- Ensure the wellbeing and comfort of the students
- Be a key point of contact for students and Program Leaders regarding housing and help them troubleshoot issues

Accompany cultural activities and day trips

Accompany students to doctor’s visits when necessary
